Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov met with Rahman Gummatov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan. 

The sides discussed the current state of transport and logistics ties between the two countries and the prospects for its development, the possibility of increasing transit traffic and a number of other issues.

The parties exchanged views on issues related to the introduction of an electronic exchange of permit forms (e-permit) between countries in order to increase the volume of cargo transportation, create favorable conditions for the transportation of goods, in particular, speed up the process of cargo transportation.
