Training for doctors takes place in Urgench, Termez, Gulistan and Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Within the project “Healthy mother – healthy child” of the Social Initiative Support Fund (SISF), trainings titled “Interactive methods of education in programmes “Healthy mother – healthy child/Reproductive health” started for doctors of Health Institutes and Centers of Reproductive Health in Khorezm, Surkhandarya, Syrdarya and Tashkent regions.

The first training was held in Urgench on 6-8 August. Next training will take place in Termez, Gulistan and Tashkent till 25 August.

Trainings are conducted by skilled specialists of Salomatlik plyus Ecologiya NGO and Association of Children Doctors of Bukhara region. Within the training-for-trainers, it is planned to train 26 specialists of medical establishments from each region to further work with targeted auditory in places. In 2012, the project plans to cover 200,000 beneficiaries.

Some 26 specialists of medical establishments and rural medical points participated in training in Urgench. They received knowledge on work with auditory, which will help them to work with population more effective.

The SISF has organized 20,230 seminars, which covered 692,544 beneficiaries. In the result, medical specialists improve their knowledge on introduction healthy lifestyle among youth.
