Two-day event is focused on improvement skills of public servants on use of information-communication technologies in public administration and familiarize them with the latest trends in the sphere.
The training course was organized by the Communication and Information Agency of Uzbekistan (UzACI) and UNDP ICTP project "Assisting the government of Uzbekistan in the formulation and implementation of ICT for development policy".
Asadjon Khodjaev, deputy director-general of UzACI, said: “Uzbekistan pays great attention to development of ICT and their wide use in all spheres. Such training and seminars for public servants will help to improve their knowledge in ICT sphere.”
About 70 representatives of ministries and agencies of Uzbekistan, Tashkent regional administration are participating in the event.
During the training course, the participants discussed issues on automated management systems, legislation and legal acts, adopted to regulate ICT sector and directed to formation and introduction of e-government services, e-document flow and information security.
