The festival aims to inform the citizens and foreigners about the culture, traditions and customs of the Uzbek people, including music and dance, applied art, craftsmanship, folklore and national sports.

Famous folklore and theatre bands, artists, musicians, dancers, designers, singers, horse-riders, craftsmen, etc. will participate in the festival, the organizers told journalists at a press conference in Tashkent.

A festival of national clothes will also be held during the event, featuring works of both renowned and beginning designers.
