The event was organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Singapore in cooperation with the travel company Aveson Travel Pte Ltd and the representative office of Uzbekiston Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Aairways).

The presentation was aimed at presenting tourism potential of Uzbekistan and sights to citizens of Singapore, as well as conditions, created to foreign tourists in Uzbekistan.

During the presentation, information photos and brochures with an overview of the tourism industry in Uzbekistan, as well as videos about historical monuments and other sights of Uzbekistan, in particular ancient cities such as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Termez and Tashkent were presented to participants.

Uzbekistan, being the cradle of human civilization, has served as a bridge between East and West since ancient times. The oldest cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Tashkent, Kokand and Shakhrisabz, along the routes of the ancient Great Silk Road, have become a place for the exchange of not only goods, but also a crossroads of cultures and religions. Hence the rich spiritual, scientific and historical and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people.

The participants of the event highly appreciated the achievements of Uzbekistan during the independence years and the tourism opportunities of the country, noting the quality of provided tourist and transport services at favorable prices. Many of the participants expressed a wish to visit Uzbekistan in the near future.
