Heads of city administrations of Amalfi and Ravello, members of city self-governing councils on tourism and trade, representatives of the Association of owners of hotel complexes of the regions, heads of several large tourism firms and agencies of Salerno, and mass media, Jahon reported.

Participants were briefed about tourism potential of Uzbekistan, priority directions of development of tourism, rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people, unique historic sights, geographic, natural, and climate conditions in the country.

It was noted that the exchange in tourism sphere between two states will be important for cultural enrichment and development of bilateral relations.

It was said that Uzbekistan has great potential to develop tourism to historic cities, eco tourism, active sport tourism, health tourism, etc.
