Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The head of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev held a meeting with the Deputy Governor of Guangdong Province Wang Xi on expanding cooperation in the field of tourism.

At the negotiations, the prospects for launching flights from the city of Guangzhou to our country were discussed in order to attract tourists from the Greater Bay Area, as well as joint events in the field of tourism in 2024. 

In addition, the parties agreed on the participation of the national stand of Uzbekistan at the tourism fair in Guangzhou.

The Greater Bay Area is an economic region in China that includes 9 major cities (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Foshan, Huizhou, Jiangmen and Zhaqing) in southern Guangdong, as well as Hong Kong and Macau.
