Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Toshshahartranshizmat will purchase 350 city and intercity buses of MAN brand in 2017-2019.
The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On measures to further update the passenger bus fleet of Tashkent city”.
The document said that Toshshahartranshizmat and JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan have concluded a contract for the supply of 350 units of MAN buses and coaches for the period 2017-2019.
Within the framework of the JV MAN Auto -Uzbekistan contract, in 2018, it will supply 110 units of city and intercity buses with a large capacity of MAN brand worth 207.32 billion soums.
In 2018, 80 city buses (the cost of one bus is 1.87 billion soums) and 30 intercity buses (the cost of one bus is 1.88 billion soums) will be delivered.
JV MAN Avto-Uzbekistan as will hand over technological equipment, special tools, spare parts and special equipment to Toshshahartranshizmat for a total amount of 9.5 billion soums.
The purchase of 110 buses in 2018 will be financed due to resources of the accumulative pension system by People’s Bank of Uzbekistan. The state budget will pay loan, interests and commissions.
