Timur Ibragimov defeats Oliver McCall

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Timur Ibragimov of Uzbekistan won unanimous decision over former WBC heavyweight champion Oliver McCall on Tuesday night.

Ibragimov displayed solid boxing and was more accurate throughout the 12-round fight. In the result, Ibragimov won 117-111 on two judges’ scorecards and 119-109 on the third.

McCall (54-10) connected some jabs to the head, but Ibragimov enjoyed solid rounds, setting up pace and collecting points.
