Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Three new modern four-car metro trains have arrived in Tashkent, according to the press service of Uzbekistan's Ministry of Transport.
After undergoing technical tests over the next 9–10 days, they will be deployed on metro lines, helping to reduce train intervals.
An additional six metro trains are expected to be delivered between January and February 2025.
These measures are part of a broader effort to modernize the metro fleet and further decrease waiting times for passengers.
