Finance 30/01/2009 Three new credit unions receive licenses
Central Bank of Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Bank of Uzbekistan issued licenses to three new credit unions in line with the legislation of the country.

The bank issued licenses to Best-Credit (Zangiata district, Tashkent region) with the charter capital of 65.4 million soums, Maximum (Tashkent district, Tashkent region) with the charter capital of 33.4 million soums and Barlos (Bukhara city) with the charter capital of 35.5 million soums.

New credit unions will finance business projects of their members - business entities and individual entrepreneurs - and render leasing services.

Currently, there are 81 credit unions in Uzbekistan.
