Three days of Petersburg theater in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Three performances will be presented by the actors of the State Drama Theater on Vasilevsky (St. Petersburg) at the end of October this year on the stage of the GUARDT of Uzbekistan.

These are the performances "Petty Bourgeois" (based on the play by Gorky), "Marriage" (based on N. Gogol) and "Elsa’s Land" (based on the play by Yaroslava Pulinovich).

It is certainly interesting to get acquainted with the modern Russian theater school on the example of the classics. In this regard, the first two performances are interesting with the modern view of today’s directors and actors on themes that were staged by many theatrical generations before them.

As for "Elsa’s Land", this name is widely known after a successful film premiere. How the theater solves the eternal themes of love can be seen at the performance of the Theater on Vasilyevsky.

Interestingly, the Russian Drama Theater of Tashkent not only plans to establish close cooperation with its Russian counterparts, but is also ready to answer questions about this from the ubiquitous journalists.

The State Drama Theater on Vasilevsky today is one of the best theater groups in the cultural capital of Russia. The theater is a repeated winner of the most prestigious theatrical awards of the country "Triumph", "Golden Mask", "Golden Soffit". This Petersburg theater under the direction of the Honored Art Worker of Russia Vladimir Slovokhotov has been leading its history since 1989.
