Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An accident occurred in Samara region of Russia involving a car with Uzbek license plates.

The driver of a Lada Largus with license plates from Kashkadarya region lost control, as a result of which the car collided with a Gazelle truck.

There were seven people in Largus, of whom three died and four were hospitalized.

Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan confirmed that all seven passengers of the Lada Largus are citizens of Uzbekistan.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that efforts are being made to return them to their homeland as soon as possible with the assistance of the Russian authorities.
