Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Khasanboy Dusmatov, Asadhuja Muydinkhujaev and Mujibillo Tursunov will enter the ring in Phuket, Thailand on 15 July as part of the IBA’s Night of Champions, Yangi Uzbekistan reports.
According to the official website of the IBA, there will be seven fights in total (in weights up to 63 and 75 kg - among women).
IBA Champions’ Night is a professional boxing bout consisting of 5 rounds of 3 minutes for men and 5 rounds of 2 minutes for women.
It has been confirmed that the headliners of the tournament will be world and Olympic champion Khasanboy Dusmatov from Uzbekistan, five-time world champion and two-time Olympic champion Julio La Cruz from Cuba and his compatriot, world champion and two-time Olympic champion Arlen Lopez.
In the weight category up to 51 kg our Khasanboy Dusmatov will fight with Martin Salvador Molina (Spain).
Megan de Clare (up to 63 kg) from the Netherlands will cross gloves with Guadalupe Altagracia Solis Acosta from Mexico.
Uzbekistan’s Mujibillo Tursunov (up to 63.5 kg) is waiting for a fight with Hunatip Pidnuch (Thailand), which will be supported by local spectators.
Another Uzbek boxer Asadhuja Muidinhujaev (up to 71 kg) will fight against Dulat Bekbauov (Kazakhstan).
Turkish Elif Guineri (up to 75 kg) (Turkey) will fight with Valentina Khalzova (Kazakhstan).
Cuban Arlen Lopez (up to 80 kg) will measure his strength with Imam Khataev (Russia).
His compatriot Julio La Cruz (up to 92 kg) will fight with Emmanuel Reyes (Spain).
