Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Poor visibility (50 m) caused by thick fog limited the arrival and departure of flights at Namangan International Airport. Two flights were sent to alternate airfields.

In particular, due to bad weather conditions, Uzbekistan Airways flight HY9958, en route from Ufa to Namangan, landed at Tashkent airport at 07:15 local time. Also, Jazeera Airways flight J9645 en route (Kuwait — Namangan) was redirected to the capital’s airport.

Low visibility caused Red Wings flight WZ1127 (Yekaterinburg-Namangan) to enter the waiting zone. The plane was supposed to land at the destination airport at 07:30 local time.

As a result, the crew decided to land in Tashkent. The plane landed at the capital’s airport at 10:30 local time.

Uzbekistan Airways flights HY9825 (Namangan-Sochi) and HY9823 (Namangan-Ufa), as well as Flydubai FZ781 (Dubai-Namangan) have been rescheduled until weather conditions improve at Namangan International Airport.
