There is an opportunity to adopt a service dog from the Ministry of Internal Affairs kennel

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Regulations on the procedure for providing paid services for training dogs belonging to individuals and legal entities for general obedience and protective guard skills, as well as the sale of dogs raised in breeding nurseries and declared unfit for service, was approved by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The regulations determine the procedure for training dogs, teaching them obedience and protection skills, as well as the process of selling service dogs.

The funds received from these services and the sale of dogs are sent to the Special Budget Fund of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, helping to strengthen the material and technical base of the canine units of the internal affairs bodies.

Customers wishing to use paid services can contact the canine department directly or through an electronic form. After receiving the request, a date is set for the dog to be delivered for a preliminary clinical examination within five working days.

Dogs brought by customers are examined by veterinarians of the canine department, and based on the results, a veterinary report is drawn up. Provided the dog is healthy, an agreement is concluded between the customer and the canine department for the provision of paid services.

After two months of training, the dogs are tested in the presence of the customer. Those who do not pass the test may undergo additional free training at the request of the customer in the canine units.
