Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Wedbush analyst Dan Ives (USA) said there is an acute shortage of iPhone 14 series smartphones in the US. The lockdown in China is partly to blame for this.
“We believe demand for iPhone 14 devices over the all-important Black Friday holiday weekend far outstrips supply and could cause severe shortages ahead of the Christmas season,” Ives said.
Analysts are blaming the shortages on China’s new COVID outbreak, which has prompted Chinese authorities to crack down on some areas, including Zhengzhou. This is where Foxconn’s largest iPhone manufacturing facility is located.
