Theatre.UZ/2013 festival kicks off in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Opening ceremony of the Fourth International Festival ‘Theatre.UZ’ has been held at the Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan.

The Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan hosted premier of the Uzbek-Israeli play HAPPY END. The play was presented as play reading in the Theatre.UZ/2012 festival. The play was written by Israel’s Iddo Netanyahu.

Iddo Netanyahu and director of the Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan Nabi Abdurakhmanov received the applauses from the audience.

Nabi Abdurakhmanov said that the theatre is a world, where a lot of normal “crazy people” and there must be creative blood transfusion.

The play “Happy End” tells the story of a Jewish family in Germany in 1932. The problem of anti-Semitism and the struggle of people with influence from the outside are the main components of the play.

Iddo Netanyahu the Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan conducted the great work and it is only the premier. It will get better and better over the time, he said. He noted that this was the best premier, which he saw.
