Theatre.UZ/2010 to be held in Uzbekistan in October

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First International Theatre Festival Theatre.UZ/2010 will be opened at the Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan in Tashkent on 2 October 2010. The Fund Forum and Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan are organizers the event.

The festival will be launched with the joint Uzbek-Israeli play “Enchanted tailor” of Sholem Aleichem with the participation of Israeli theatre ZERO and the Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan.

It is expected that the festival will be attended by theatres of Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Israel and Uzbekistan, the organizers said.

The festival aimed at enriching theatric live of Uzbekistan through displaying achievements of local and foreign theatres.
