Supporters of the competition were the following: Ministry of Culture and Sport science-practice center of folklore and cultural affairs, Uzbek theater association, “Oltin meros” international charitable fund, “Mahalla” Republican Public Charitable Foundation, Arts association “Tasviriy oyina”, and “Kamolot” public youth movement.
More than 70 participants from Karakalpakstan Republic, Tashkent city and other regions of Uzbekistan competed with each other for the reward. They demonstrated the samples of traditional songs, mavrigi, katta ashula (songs sung with a plate at hand), dance, lapar, and olan.
Professionals like Yakub Ahmedov, Afzal Rafiqov, Nasiba Ibragimova, Gulchehra Umarova, and Dildora Rustamova were included in the juries’ staff to rank the performances. They tried to pay attention to the participants’ ability to describe the topics, suitable clothes for the performance, stage behavior, and the art of performing.
