Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-March 2024, the volume of transit cargo transported through the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan (by road and rail) amounted to more than 2.75 million tons. This was announced by the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan.

Of these, 2.22 million tons of cargo (80.5% of the total volume of cargo) were transported by rail, 536,000 tons of cargo (19.5% of the total volume) were transported by road.
