Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The volume of allocated mortgage loans in Uzbekistan in January-October 2023 amounted to 13.9 trillion soums. The Central Bank of Uzbekistan reports this.

At the same time, the volume of loans for the purchase of housing in the primary market amounted to 8.08 trillion soums, and in the secondary market – about 5.82 trillion soums.

According to the Central Bank, the balance of mortgage loans as of 1 November,2023 exceeded 56.2 trillion soums

The Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan allocated 7.82 trillion soums for financing mortgage loans, commercial banks - 4.67 trillion soums and Mortgage Refinancing Company of Uzbekistan – 1.4 trillion soums

In January-October, more than 57.5 thousand people received mortgage loans, of which 21.02 thousand were women and 36.48 thousand were men.

The largest number of mortgage loans were issued in Tashkent - 4.33 trillion soums, in Ferghana region - 1.1 trillion soums, in Tashkent region - 1.05 trillion soums and in Navoi region - 1.03 trillion soums
