Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The VIII International Olympiad on military professional training of cadets of higher military educational institutions of the CIS member states began on the basis of providing the educational process of the Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Speakers at the opening ceremony wished all the participants of the Olympiad great success in the upcoming competitions. Peculiar performances of young athletes and demonstration performances of servicemen with elements of hand-to-hand combat left an unforgettable impression on those present.

The International Cadets Olympiad is an intellectual creative event of a competitive nature, aimed at demonstrating the skills and practical skills of cadets of higher military educational institutions in academic disciplines that form the basis of their general theoretical and general professional training, contributing to an increase in the efficiency of the educational process in higher military educational institutions, the improvement and development of modern pedagogical technologies.

The Olympiad is held in order to improve the quality of training of military personnel, their professional motivation, the formation and disclosure of scientific and creative abilities, as well as the improvement of the qualifications of the teaching staff of higher military educational institutions and the development of teaching methods.

It should be noted that all participants were well prepared for these competitions. One of the important aspects of the competition is that the teams first of all exchange experience and get acquainted with the history of Uzbekistan. Meet new friends. And this, in turn, will undoubtedly serve to further strengthen friendly relations between the countries.

For four days, cadets will compete in such competitions as "Hard to learn - easy to fight", "Chemical protection", "Orientation", "Shooter", "Duel", "Army biathlon", "Gunsmith", "Fire defeat”, “Overcoming” and “Strip”. During the competition, they will also have to overcome a special 500-meter obstacle course, show their knowledge of international humanitarian law and skills in medical training.

Competitions and competitions of the Olympiad will be held on the basis of the educational process of the Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the educational and material and technical base of the Chirchik VTKIU and at the Chirchik training ground of the Tashkent military district.

During the Olympiad, in order to complete difficult competitive tasks, participants will need the maximum concentration of intellectual and creative forces, as well as such important qualities for the defenders of the Motherland as determination and the ability to make the right decisions in difficult situations.
