Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 February, a gala concert of the Ural Opera Ballet troupe will be held at the State Academic Bolshoi Theater named after Alisher Navoi as part of the International Opera and Ballet Festival.
The Ural Ballet Gala Concert is an almanac that includes four ballets. This is a true portrait of one of the best Russian ballet companies, as well as a retrospective of “classical dance” over the past two centuries: from the earliest productions in 1842 to the newest works created in the summer of 2023.
In one evening with two intermissions, spectators will be able to enjoy the ballet “Naples, or the Fisherman and His Bride” by Danish choreographer August Bournonville, “Terzetto” by Alexander Merkushev, a production of “Afternoon” to the music of Debussy under the direction of Maxim Petrov, as well as the classic “Salieri Variations”.
