The total area of Uzbekistan’s housing stock increased 1.3 times in 4 years
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 January 2025, the total area of Uzbekistan’s housing stock amounted to 703.8 million m², which is 1.3 times larger compared to 2021. This is confirmed by preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee.
Since 2021, the area of housing stock has steadily increased. In 2021, this figure was 549 million m², and by 2022, it had grown to 636.4 million m². By 2023, the area reached 658.4 million m², and in 2024, it amounted to 692.5 million m².
This growth in housing area reflects the active development of the country’s construction sector, aimed at meeting the housing needs of the population.
