Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Airports is starting the reconstruction of the forecourt in front of the Tashkent-3 domestic airlines terminal. 

According to the project, the arrival of vehicles to the terminal will be simplified. So, there will be three separate lanes: for official airport taxi services, tourist buses and minibuses, as well as all cars that will be allowed to enter the territory for up to 5 minutes. 

The lane for cars seeing off and meeting people will work on the principle of an overpass in the terminal of international airlines. In case of exceeding the allowable time spent by the car on the lane, cameras installed and integrated with the traffic police will automatically send fines to violators.

The reconstruction of the station square is being carried out as part of the implementation of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 159 from 17 April 2023 "On additional measures aimed at improving the quality of service at airports, railway and bus stations." Reconstruction works are planned to be completed by the end of August this year.

It is worth noting that until 1 January 2024, the reconstruction of the forecourt areas will also be carried out at all international airports in Uzbekistan.
