Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva, as part of a working visit to Kashkadarya region, held a dialogue with deputy khokims of districts and cities of the region - heads of departments of family and women, representatives of commercial banks in the center of Obod mahalla in the village of Kamashi Kasansky district.

There was a critical discussion of the work being done in Kashkadarya region to ensure women’s employment, developed using the example of the Kirsadak mahalla of the Yangiyul district of the Tashkent region,

It was noted that work to determine the opportunities and needs of unemployed women who want to work is progressing slowly, and therefore tasks have been identified to eliminate them. In particular, it is emphasized that it is necessary to involve commercial banks and representatives of responsible organizations in the door-to-door study of households.

Based on the results of the studies, appropriate instructions were given to ensure the employment of women who are unemployed and want to engage in certain work activities aimed at generating income, by employing them in existing vacant and created new jobs, and involving them in public works.

It was noted that it is necessary to promptly provide subsidies to women who want to start entrepreneurial activities in makhallas, engage in crafts, housekeeping and gardening.

In addition, it is especially emphasized that women in need of medical, psychological and social assistance identified during the studies must be provided with targeted assistance, monitor the woman in need of social assistance until her problem is completely resolved, and also, if necessary, provide providing additional assistance.
