Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Former soloist of the Laskovy May group Yuri Shatunov died in Moscow. This was announced on 23 June by the director of the performer Arkady Kudryashov, the information was also confirmed by two sources in medical circles.
The cause of the singer’s death was a massive heart attack. He died at night in an ambulance. Shatunov was 48 years old.
Yuri Shatunov was born in the Bashkir ASSR in 1973. His parents divorced when he was three years old, and at 11 his mother died. The future star spent his teenage years in an orphanage, where he met Sergei Kuznetsov, the head of the amateur circle - from that moment the history of the Laskovy May group began.
