Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the fifty-second plenary meeting of the Senate, the Law “On introducing additions and changes to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with further improvement of enforcement proceedings” was discussed.

The law stipulates the introduction of appropriate additions and changes to the Law “On the Execution of Judicial Acts and Acts of Other Bodies” and the Civil Procedure Code.

It is established that from now on, when filing demands for the collection of mandatory payments for consumed energy resources, copies of the agreement concluded with the consumer, the demand for debt repayment with a warning about the accrual of penalties and about disconnecting the consumer from the relevant energy networks, as well as a document confirming its dispatch to the consumer are attached to the application for the issuance of a court order.

The Law also introduces a provision for attaching copies of a document confirming the disconnection of the consumer from the relevant energy resource networks.

In relation to court documents on the collection of mandatory payments for postal expenses from debtors - individuals, a simplified procedure is established in enforcement proceedings.

According to the senators, the additions and changes being made serve to ensure the timely execution of judicial acts and documents of other bodies, as well as to improve the system of execution of executive documents on debt collection for consumed fuel and energy resources.

Following the discussion, the Law was approved by the senators.
