The second meeting of the Uzbek-Belarusian Business Council was held

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 5 September, during the visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan headed by the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva to the Republic of Belarus, the second meeting of the Uzbek-Belarusian Business Council was held with the participation of representatives of the business circles of the two countries.

This event was organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan as part of the first Belarusian-Uzbek Women’s Forum, which is taking place these days in Minsk and the Minsk region.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Jamshed Urakov, Advisor for Trade and Economic Affairs of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Belarus Kamoliddin Khasanov, as well as business circles of the two countries.

During his speech, M. Myatlikov noted the dynamically developing trade and economic relations between business representatives of Uzbekistan and Belarus.

In turn, J.Urakov added that cooperation is developing, but the potential has not yet been fully disclosed, and called on the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries to continue expanding cooperation between business circles.

Also during the event, K. Khasanov presented possible projects of trade and economic cooperation between Belarusian companies and the Uzbek side.

The participants were also presented with exchange mechanisms to support bilateral trade operations offered by the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, as well as the export opportunities of Belarusian and Uzbek enterprises.

At the end of the speeches and presentations, B2B negotiations were held between businessmen of the two countries, who discussed topical issues and proposals for the development of partnerships, the implementation of specific cooperation projects in various fields.
