Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Second Global Forum on inter-parliamentary cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals began its work in Tashkent today, on 30 November.
The event is actively attended by heads of interparliamentary organizations and parliaments of many countries around the world, parliamentary friendship groups, representatives of international organizations, authoritative experts and specialists, as well as representatives of civil society institutions and the media.
The Forum will discuss issues of expanding inter-parliamentary cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, improving legislation to implement national goals and objectives, as well as strengthening parliamentary control mechanisms.
