Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The law signed by the President of Uzbekistan introduced changes and additions to some legislative acts.

According to the Law, the requirement to provide copies of payment documents for payment of state duties, fees or other payments for consideration of applications from citizens and legal entities, government bodies and other organizations or state registration has been abolished.

Also, according to the amendments made to the law “On the Mass Media,” the period for consideration by the registration authority of an application for registration of mass media has been reduced from 15 days to 10 days.

According to the amendments made to the Law “On the Bar,” the deadline for issuing a lawyer’s certificate is set at 2 working days (previously this period was 3 days).
