The rendered transport services in Uzbekistan in 2022 were analyzed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Experts from the Institute for Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research (IPMI) analyzed the transport services provided in Uzbekistan in 2022.

In 2022, the volume of market services provided in the Republic of Uzbekistan amounted to 357.55 trillion soums. In the structure of market services provided by type of economic activity, transport services took second place (22.7%) after trade services.

Among the transport services, the largest share is occupied by road transport, which accounts for 51%; followed by air - 14.2%; pipeline - 13.1% and railway - 11.4%.

In the total volume of transport services by regions, the largest share falls on:

- Tashkent city – 13.11 trillion soums (25.5%);

- Tashkent region – 5.94 trillion soums (11.6%);

- Samarkand region – 5.33 trillion soums (10.4%).

The lowest rates are observed in:

- Navoi region – 1.5 trillion soums (2.9%);

- Jizzakh region – 1.16 trillion soums (2.3%);

- Syrdarya region – 666.2 billion soums (1.3%).

For 2022, the largest volume of exports of transport services accounted for pipelines – US$682.66 million, then for rail transport – US$508.9 million, air transport – US$466.11 million and automobile – US$45.26 million.
