Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the first quarter of 2024, the net profit of Hamkorbank JSCB reached 319.4 billion soums, which is 29.0% higher than the same period of last year, according to the bank’s quarterly report.
The bank’s interest income increased by 40.4%, reaching 949.1 billion soums, while non-interest income increased by 88.0%, reaching 1.9 trillion soums
The bank’s assets increased to 21.7 trillion soums by the end of the first quarter of 2024, which is 29.8% higher than the same period of the previous year.
The bank’s capital by the end of the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 4.1 trillion soums, which is 44.7% more than in the same period in 2023.
According to the Central Bank, the loan portfolio as of 1 March 2024 amounted to 16.4 trillion soums (annual growth - 41.1%). At the same time, the share of problem loans (NPL) increased from 0.6% to 0.7%.
