Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government Resolution approved the Regulation on the registration of mobile devices utilized, imported and produced for sale or personal use within the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the Resolution, registration of mobile devices  are being executed:

until 1 November 2019 - in automatic mode by connecting (activating) them to the networks of mobile operators, on a free basis;

from 1 November 2019 - by contacting individuals, importers and manufacturers to the system for registering mobile devices with international unique identification codes, on a free basis, and from 1 December 2019 on a paid basis.

According to the Regulation, registration of mobile devices is carried out by contacting the System Operator or the System Registrar.

Mobile devices that have already been registered cannot be re-registered
