The presentation of the new aircraft of Qanot Sharq takes place

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- One of two Airbus A321neo aircraft, leased by the local airline Qanot Sharq with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, arrived at the capital’s airport.

Nusratilla Zikrillaev, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, who was present at the presentation of this aircraft, read out the congratulations of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov.

“Special attention in Uzbekistan is paid to the tourism sector. Under the leadership of the President, a lot of work has been done to reform the tourism sector, to form a positive image of Uzbekistan in the international arena, the congratulation says. – It is safe to say that Qanot Sharq also contributes to the development of the aviation industry, as well as provides quality passenger service, giving priority to safety. This decision will contribute to the expansion of the geography of flights to the countries of near and far abroad, the replenishment of the air fleet of our country with new aircraft, as well as the wider promotion of the prestige of Uzbekistan as one of the best and safest tourist destinations at the international level.”

Moishe Pak, CEO of Qanot Sharq, said that the use of the new aircraft will not require a long process associated with retraining pilots. If a specialist has flown an Airbus A320ceo, he will quickly master the control of a new aircraft. This was exactly one of the criteria used in selecting the Airbus A321neo.

In addition, this model is significantly superior to the previous one in terms of performance. It is roomy and is used in regular flights. The new aircraft will make its first flights to Vietnam and Thailand. The second Airbus A321neo will arrive in a month.

“Today, a long-haul aircraft Airbus A321neo arrived to us,” says Sevara Tillakorieva, head of the on-board observers service of Qanot Sharq airline. – Its capacity is 240 passenger seats. It performs flights lasting from five to eight hours. We take all necessary measures to ensure the comfort of our passengers. To do this, we studied, improved our knowledge and performed training flights on a new aircraft.

At present, the domestic carrier’s fleet consists of two Airbus A320ceo aircraft, taken into its possession two years ago.
