The premiere of short films about Uzbekistan in the format of 8K to be held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – On 12 July 2019, Tashkent will host a premiere show of Uzbekistan 8K short films, prepared by the professional American group of directors and animators Mystery Box Digital Cinema, and the film Lost in Uzbekistan, sponsored by the founders of the digital magazine The Lost Avocado, winners of the National Geographic Awards.

Representatives of the American company Mystery box, led by its founder, video-bloger Jacob Schwarz, visited Uzbekistan in April-May 2019 to organize filming of a 5-7 minute video about the architectural, historical and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.

Mystery Box is a video content company based in Utah (USA). The company specializes in the production of all kinds of video materials including films, documentaries, television programs, commercials, music videos, event videos, website creation and much more. The Mystery box company develops video content at a resolution of 8 K. 8K is a digital video resolution used in digital cinema and computer graphics, approximately corresponding to 8000 pixels horizontally. 8K resolution is considered as a standard for ultra-high definition.

The authors of the travel blog The Lost Avocado Sara Izzi and Timur Tugalev visited Uzbekistan in April of this year. Bloggers visited Ferghana Valley, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and collected a lot of material for the production of their film.

The presentation of the film “Lost in Uzbekistan” will also take place in the “Samarqand Darvoza” shopping and entertainment center on 12 July 2019. Also during the presentation there will be an announcement of a new media project in the field of cinematography. The premiere shows are organized by the State Tourism Development Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
