Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The plane of the domestic airline Uzbekistan Airways, operating flight HY9620 on the Moscow-Namangan route, made an emergency landing in Tashkent. 

The aircraft with 171 passengers on board landed at 14:42 local time at the Tashkent International Airport.

The reason for the landing was a pregnant passenger who went into labor. The crew decided to land the aircraft at the nearest airport.

After landing at the airport, the passenger was picked up by an ambulance and hospitalized to a medical facility for qualified medical care.
