Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The permanent population of Uzbekistan as of 22 April 2024 exceeded 37 million people, according to data from the Statistics Agency.

Of these, more than 18.6 million are men and more than 18.34 million are women.

Since the beginning of this year, the population of Uzbekistan has increased by more than 200,000 people, which is an average increase of more than 50,000 people per month, since the population was 36,799,800 people.

Over the past 2023, the country's population grew by 774,900 people, or 2.2%.
