The permanent population of Uzbekistan exceeds 36 million people
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Statistical Agency, as of 1 July 2023, the total resident population in Uzbekistan made up 36.37 million people, an increase of 2.2% compared to the corresponding period in 2022.
Of them:
Number of women – 18.06 million people,
The number of men is 18.3 million people,
In urban areas – 18.55 million people,
In rural areas – 17.81 million people.
