Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Airports has acquired five new universal cleaning machines at the airfield complex of the Tashkent airport. The Overaasen RSC 250 brush blower based on a Mercedes-Benz chassis is designed for use on runways, taxiways, aprons and other airport elements.

“The new machines are highly economical, agile and efficient in harvesting. Compared to older machines, new ones clean much faster and better, while consuming significantly less fuel. In addition, new universal models can be used both in winter and in summer," the department of special transport of Uzbekistan Airports noted.

Also, for this winter season, two new machines for anti-icing treatment of aircraft at the Tashkent airport have already been purchased and put into operation. The plan for 2023 is to replenish the fleet of special equipment of several regional airports with universal machines for cleaning at the airport.
