Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An opening ceremony of Lumiere Hotel & SPA took place on 26 March in Tashkent. The event was opened by Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State committee for tourism development Aziz Abdukhakimov. He congratulated the audience on the opening of the hotel.
“Despite the situation related to the pandemic, the President of our country pays great attention to the development of the tourism sector. Entrepreneurs in the tourism sector are provided with many benefits and preferences. In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 4095 dated January 5, 2019, hotels can receive subsidies. The size of the subsidy for each room in 3-star hotels is 40 million soums. In 4-star hotels, it is 65 million soums per room. The subsidy will be allocated to hotels commissioned before December 31, 2023. To receive a subsidy, an investor can apply to the State committee for tourism development with the relevant documents”, - said the Deputy Prime Minister.
One of the founders of Lumiere Hotel & SPA, Hasan Mamasaidov, noted the special attention that the head of state pays to the tourism sector and thanked for the conditions created for business development.
“Today Uzbekistan is open to the world community and international platforms. The potential of ziyorat tourism, gastronomic, ecological and historical tourism in our country is very high. Thanks to the initiatives of the President, as well as the efforts of Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov, the State committee for tourism development is doing very important work to develop the industry and create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs. All this, in turn, plays an important role in making the first correct impression on tourists,” said Khasan Mamasaidov.
According to the entrepreneur, more than US$10 million has been allocated for the Lumiere Hotel & SPA project, of which about US$6 million was financed by Asakabank. The Lumiere Hotel & SPA was built in the French style, and in the future it is planned to build another hotel in the English style. Lumiere Hotel & SPA is located in a geographically convenient location, 10 minutes from Tashkent International Airport.
The hotel consists of 61 rooms, which have all the necessary conditions for tourists to relax. Each room is equipped with modern and comfortable appliances, individually controlled air conditioning system, TV with IP-TV, desk, wardrobe, minibar, seating area and Wi-Fi. The new hotel houses the Lumiere restaurant with a capacity of up to 114 people at a time, a lobby bar, a Centris Fit & Spa fitness club, a modern conference hall and meeting rooms.
The Lumiere Hotel & SPA is also very convenient for holding various conferences, seminars and congresses. At the end of the event, an info-tour of the hotel was organized for the media representatives.
