Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – A special achievement for our delegation is the license earned today by the representative of the Uzbekistan women’s boxing team, Navbahor Khamidova (-66 kg). This became the 50th qualification for the Uzbekistan delegation to the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.

Another remarkable aspect is that, for the first time in history, our female boxers have secured four qualifications for the Olympic Games. This indicates that, thanks to the attention given by the state, the development of women’s sports in our country, especially women’s boxing, is reaching a new level.

The 50 licenses were earned in 17 sports disciplines. The qualification cycle is still ongoing. Our compatriots still have the chance to add to the delegation’s tally by earning qualifications in judo, athletics, archery, shooting, and swimming.
