The national stand of Uzbekistan is presented in Moscow

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the IV Russian Tourism Forum “Travel!” taking place these days in Moscow at VDNKh, the Tourism Committee, together with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia, organized a stand representing the tourism potential of Uzbekistan.

On it, visitors can receive extensive information about the tourism potential of our country, the ancient cities of Khiva, Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, tourism and transport infrastructure, visa regime, the Zomin tourist and recreational zone and the Charvak free tourist zone, as well as the tourist village Konigil and, in general, about gastro-, eco-, ethno- and other types of tourism.

The Uzbek stand was visited by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko and had a conversation with First Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee Jamshid Abdusalomov. The parties noted the importance of implementing the agreements reached during the negotiations between the heads of Uzbekistan and Russia, stating the need to work on a mutual increase in tourist flow. Thus, the parties raised the issue of continuing the implementation of the Action Plan to create conditions for increasing the tourist flow between Uzbekistan and Russia.

The organizers and guests of the event got acquainted with the stand of Uzbekistan with interest and, sharing their impressions, expressed a desire to visit our country.

To participate in the IV Russian Tourism Forum “Travel!” on 12-15 June, a delegation of Uzbekistan led by First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Tourism Jamshid Abdusalomov is in Moscow.

As part of the recent state visit of the President of Russia to Uzbekistan, a “Cooperation Program to increase the tourist flow between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2025-2026” was signed.
