Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to implement the agreements reached within the framework of the China-Central Asia summit in the city of Xi’an, the Zhejiang Union of Railway Logistics, together with Uzbekistan Temir Yollari and SE NK Kyrgyz Temir Zholu” a block train of 30 containers was launched from Lanzhou station to Tashkent.

In order to stimulate freight traffic along the multimodal transport corridor "China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan" on 9 June, the movement of the first test train started.

A freight train worth US$2.5 million with solar panels, mechanical equipment, fabrics and other cargo will arrive in Tashkent from Lanzhou in 15 days.
