Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The mortgage refinancing company of Uzbekistan will increase its authorized capital from 132.8 billion soums to 940.89 billion soums. This is stated in the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan.

The government will use 300 billion soums of loan to increase the company’s authorized capital. This amount was allocated as a loan to the Mortgage Refinancing Company of Uzbekistan in 2022.

As a result, the state’s share in the Mortgage Refinancing Company of Uzbekistan will increase from 25% to 35.4%.

14 commercial banks of Uzbekistan will also allocate funds to increase the authorized capital of the Mortgage Refinancing Company of Uzbekistan.

At the same time, the share of Mortgage Bank will decrease from 20% to 3.4%, the Business Development Bank - from 10% to 6.6%, Uzsanoatkurilishbank - from 8% to 3.3%.
