Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan denied information about the downing of an Afghan helicopter on the border.
Russian political scientist Andrei Serenko wrote in his Telegram channel about the downing of an Afghan helicopter. According to him, the helicopter took off from Mazar-i-Sharif to Afghan Badakhshan.
“How he ended up in the airspace of Uzbekistan is not yet clear. There were more than 15 people on board the helicopter,” Serenko said in a statement.
The Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan stated that this information is untrue.
The Ministry called on the media and citizens to trust official information, recalling that there is liability for the dissemination of unfounded false reports in the country.
