Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers 2 No. 647 introduced changes and additions to a number of legal acts in connection with the introduction of a system for admitting students to professional educational institutions in the form of dual education throughout the year, Norma reports.

To further improve the system of training university personnel that are competitive in the labor market, as well as to introduce new mechanisms for admitting students in the form of dual education, changes and additions are being made to some legal acts, providing for:

training students in professional educational institutions for a year in the form of dual education based on orders from organizations;

simplification of admission to dual education based on the existing requirements of employers;

digitalization of the student admission system for the dual education system.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation annually organizes free short-term advanced training courses in the form of dual education to voluntarily improve the teaching skills of teachers assigned to organizations.

It is planned to improve the relevant educational programs for professions and specialties where dual education has been introduced, and to develop teaching materials based on the experience of Germany.

By the 2024/2025 academic year, an electronic platform will be launched designed to identify current and future labor market needs for qualified personnel.

Changes have been made to the Regulations on the procedure for admission to vocational educational institutions and the Regulations on the procedure for organizing dual training in the vocational education system.
