Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A man who touched a sleeping girl’s breasts on a bus was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest.

On 19 April, the Chilanzar District Criminal Court heard an administrative case against 43-year-old A.R.

According to the case materials, on a bus traveling from Termez to Tashkent, he touched the breast of sleeping passenger N. Ch., committing acts of a sexual nature.

According to the victim, the man sat next to her on the bus, took off her clothes and touched her breasts while she was sleeping. After the girl informed the driver about the incident, A.R. began to argue with her.

At the trial, citizen A.R. stated that he accidentally touched the girl with his hand and regretted what happened. He asked the court to reduce the punishment.

The court found the citizen guilty of committing the administrative offense of sexual harassment and petty hooliganism and sentenced him to 15 days of administrative arrest.
