Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Work on the creation of embankments along the canals started in 2018, and now 42 km of shady alleys for walking have been created around the various canals flowing through our capital.

At the same time, the banks of the canals were strengthened, debris was cleaned, benches, garbage bins and modern night lighting were installed.

There are walking and cycling paths. These works will be consistently continued, and the length of the parks along the canals will be 50 km in 2024, 60 km in 2025, 75 km in 2026, 90 km in 2027, 110 km in 2028, and 110 km in 2029. – 130 km, in 2030 - 150 km.

Children’s playgrounds, retail outlets and other facilities will be organized on their territory, which will serve for a good rest of the townspeople.
